New tools, refinements, and fixes in each Sim Kit release.Subscribe via RSS

New Devices page, OBS sources, and improved editor controls

Devices brings your screen assignments into one page. Add a monitor, USB screen, phone, or tablet, choose a layout from its preview, and turn it on. Assignments, rotation, and connection details stay together here.

Monitors can show a dashboard or an overlay scene. To use a phone or tablet, scan its pairing code and choose a dashboard in Sim Kit. Paired screens follow your assignment and refresh when an update is ready.

Direct output to your wheel

Sim Kit can now send dashboards directly to supported VoCore screens, including the screen in a GSI wheel. SimHub can keep controlling the wheel's LEDs while Sim Kit handles the display. You can also add a SimHub device and let SimHub render its dashboard instead.

Your layouts in OBS

Install the plugin from Integrations > OBS, then add a Sim Kit source in OBS. Choose a dashboard or overlay from its layout list to put it in your scene.

Video works in the other direction too. An OBS video widget follows the selected OBS scene on your dashboards, overlays, and paired screens. It uses the plugin, so you no longer need Virtual Camera or an open projector window.

A more consistent editor

Data sources, typography, colors, backgrounds, borders, and shadows now use the same controls across the editors. Search for a reading, set its appearance, and reset an individual setting without clearing the rest of your work.

Undo and Redo apply only to the current layout. Arrow keys move selected dashboard widgets, and saves skip unchanged documents. Reusable widgets can also contain nested layers.

This is part of an ongoing editor cleanup. More to come.

  • Desktop Added a configurable global overlay shortcut and a launch-with-Windows setting.
  • Performance Reduced text-layout work in overlays. Library previews load as you browse, and backups wait during races.
  • Updates Sim Kit automatically removes old downloaded installers and inactive app versions.

Cloud backup and restore

Recover your dashboards, overlays, themes and custom widgets from an earlier cloud backup. Profiles & backups in Settings shows completed recovery points and lets you review what will change before restoring.

Cloud backup is rolling out to invited Alpha and Pro accounts. After the first-upload notice, saved configurations and their images upload when editing has stopped. Editing and local saving continue while the backup uploads. Turn automatic backup off at any time, or choose Back up now.

Restore into a separate library to keep your current configuration, or replace it with the recovered version. Libraries have readable names, and you can rename them to keep their histories easy to find. Portable import and export stay alongside your profiles.

Make it feel like your own

Your dashboard and overlays can share a look you can change in one place. The theme builder now has controls for shared colors, frames, typography, and the individual parts inside each widget.

Choose backgrounds, gradients, borders, shadows, spacing, and fonts. Fine-tune table dividers, class headings, driver badges, gauge markings, graph labels, and the mirror's delta panel. Click a part in the preview to edit it. You can also preview a widget from one of your own dashboards or overlays with its actual settings.

Changes save as you edit. Use Undo and Redo, compare with the version you opened, or reset an individual setting. Set a theme as your default, or choose a different theme for a dashboard, overlay scene, or widget. Add themes from Community and share your own.

A closer view of the track

Track maps now use a built-in catalog for iRacing's 428 current track configurations. Each map follows the exact configuration in your session. Turn numbers, corner names, sectors, and other layouts are available where the map has that data.

The new Follow car layout keeps your car, or the car followed by the camera, centered on the map. Set the zoom and choose driving direction up or a fixed track orientation. On the full map, choose your car's color and indicator, size the driver badges, and stack nearby cars.

Sector colors can show performance against your personal best, session best, or last lap. Car motion also has fixes for race and replay stutter, with closer spacing between stacked badges.

Edit a custom widget once

Custom widgets now save automatically. Edit a widget's source in the Library and every linked use receives the update, including dashboards and overlay scenes. You no longer need to remove and add it again.

Each use keeps its own size, position, and theme. Edit the contents, overall padding, background, and border in the source. The widget builder uses one canvas with sample-data scenarios. It replaces the separate Edit layout and Test widget tabs.

  • Installer: Windows installers and app components are now signed with a verified publisher and timestamp.
Fixes
  • Tables Row dividers respect inner spacing on both sides.
  • Widgets Driver badge text keeps the theme's colors on gradients and transparent fills, with automatic text contrast on solid fills.
  • Graphs Live traces fill the available height when the header is hidden. Axis labels follow the theme's font, style, spacing, and size.
  • Overlays Mirror sector backgrounds sit behind the performance colors.
  • Dashboards Open dashboards refresh after runtime updates, and session recovery keeps current race data available.
Improvements
  • Themes Reset buttons restore inherited settings. Compact theme and custom indicators keep controls on one line.
  • Library Saved thumbnails load from a local image cache.
  • Widgets Data widgets now show readings without the old mini graphs, bars, or other visual readouts. Use Graph and Gauge widgets for those displays.

Look at this graph

Lap pace, pedal traces, race gaps, fuel use. Graph and Table widgets let you build a view around the race data you want to see.

Choose a starting point or start from scratch. Use live readings, completed laps, sectors, stints, or race events. Graphs include line and bar charts, scatter plots, heatmaps, lap distributions, and speed along your recorded track path. Compare drivers, filter pit or incident laps, and choose how to group and calculate values.

A lap pace graph and a Standings Table with class-colored rows

Data and Style controls now live in the main sidebar. The regular canvas shows each change as you edit. Changes save automatically, and Undo and Redo work without leaving the settings. Starting points stay in the creation step, so choosing one cannot replace an existing widget by accident.

This is how your laps remind you. Compare a lap with your previous or best lap, or divide it into equal sections to see where time changed. Set axis limits, colors, legends, and event markers where the selected graph supports them. Live pedal traces also show ABS and traction-control activity.

Graph data controls beside the regular widget canvas

Your race tables, in one widget

A little Rockstar treatment for your race data. Table now covers Standings, Relative, Lap table, Fuel usage, and ordinary records. Existing widgets of these four types become Tables when you open them. The update keeps their columns, headings, row settings, appearance, and placement, including widgets in groups, overlays, and saved templates.

Fuel tables keep their consumption rows, units, finish estimates, and summary metrics. Lap tables keep their selected columns and row count.

Add driver badges, names, ratings, flags, manufacturer marks, gaps, or lap data as normal columns. Reorder columns and open their settings popover to rename or hide a heading and align its content. Ordinary record tables also support display units, precision, value colors, sorting, and a footer you can hide.

Turn on class-colored row backgrounds for a subtle tint across each row. The iRating column has its own option for estimated race changes. Standings and Relative keep nearby cars, class row counts, pit filtering, and live or lap-line positions.

Features
  • Live chat Connect Twitch in Integrations and show chat in a widget. Choose badges and emotes, message expiry, empty-chat visibility, text sizes, and spacing.
  • Overlays Choose desktop windows or a browser canvas for an overlay scene. Browser output gives OBS a transparent view with a configurable canvas size.
  • Home Follow setup steps for your first dashboard or overlay, start with a Community design, and skip or resume setup. New installations start with an empty Library.
  • Home Open your active overlay and read recent product updates from the Home page. Community designs and product updates remain visible below Get started during setup.
  • Driver focus Data and Gauge widgets can follow your car while driving and the camera car while spectating. You can also select a driver.
  • Gauges Incident gauges follow the session's warning and disqualification limits, with optional limit markers.
  • Track map Align the map within its widget with a nine-position control.
  • Telemetry Show or hide time labels on live traces.
  • Community Sharing shows the CC0 license and asks you to confirm your rights to share the included content.
Improvements
  • Editor Widget header text and Show header controls are in Content, with the same toggle used elsewhere in the app.
  • Overlays Each scene keeps its own connected or manual visibility setting. Show widget offers simple visibility choices alongside custom conditions.
  • Overlays Hidden scenes and inactive browser views stop unnecessary rendering, then resume with current data when shown.
  • Overlays Widgets keep their transparency, stacking order, glow, and shadows without clipping at scene or widget edges.
  • Overlays Arrange mode and widget locking keep editing input separate from racing input. Reloaded views recover their connection and motion updates.
  • Telemetry Traces keep the newest sample at the live edge and preserve brief input changes when reducing the points drawn.
  • Graphs Event labels have readable backgrounds and follow their markers. Incidents appear at their recorded position within the lap, including on stepped lines.
  • Tables Personal and session best lap highlights follow new completed laps. Standings fit rows to the available height while keeping leaders and nearby rivals visible.
  • Tables Recorded columns keep their captured values, and live driver tables no longer shorten graph history by collecting unnecessary opponent samples.
  • Tables Migrated tables with more than 13 columns can switch between Standings and Relative without dropping columns.
  • Ratings Safety rating displays truncate the final digit instead of rounding up. Compact iRating values, country flags, and manufacturer marks have corrected formatting and alignment.
  • Community Starting points match the selected output, and failed previews offer a retry instead of creating the wrong layout.
  • Integrations SimHub setup now makes clear that its plugin is for dashboards on SimHub devices. Desktop overlays work without it.
  • Desktop Website and Community links open in your normal browser.
  • Installer Updates remove leftover files from older installations and avoid starting the app twice after an automatic update.
  • Widgets Idle-screen backgrounds and steering-wheel artwork handle missing or unsupported images without broken previews.

A more flexible dashboard editor

The Library now has tabs for dashboards, overlays, widgets, and themes. Filter to the item you want, then choose New to start with that type. In the dashboard editor, Text adds headings or multiline notes beside live widgets such as a Gauge. Image adds theme artwork or your own pictures. Both work on dashboards and overlays.

Editor typography, condition actions, and Gauge and Text widgets
Gauge and Text widgets arranged on the dashboard canvas

Select a Data or Gauge widget to style its label and value separately. Size, alignment, and color stay in the sidebar. The typography button opens font family, weight, case, line height, and letter spacing, with a preview of the result. Individual reset buttons return a setting to the dashboard theme without clearing your other choices.

Font, weight, case, line height, and letter spacing controls

Conditions can now change background fills, text response, and gauge settings as live data changes. The action menu groups these choices with text, border, visibility, and flash effects.

Condition actions for background fill and text response

Edit the screen between sessions

The Idle screen now appears beside Main in the dashboard editor. Add, move, layer, and style widgets on it as you would on any other screen. Use an Image widget for artwork or a background, add Text for a message, or arrange a driver card from Data widgets in a group.

The Idle screen open in the dashboard editor

Existing idle images, backgrounds, and driver cards become editable widgets when you open an older dashboard. The screen still appears automatically when iRacing disconnects and gives way to your racing screen when telemetry returns.

Updates when you are finished using the app

KPM Sim Kit can now download a new release in the background and install it after you close the manager and active racing or dashboard use has stopped. You can still choose Install now in Settings when you want the update sooner.

Before switching versions, setup checks your saved dashboards and profiles and keeps a backup. If the new app cannot start, it restores the previous version and data.

More in this release

  • Telemetry: Choose Automatic — current car for the steering-wheel display to use artwork from your installed iRacing car files, with a generic wheel when artwork is unavailable.
Fixes
  • Overlays Transparent windows no longer open as black or opaque rectangles on first launch.
  • Overlays Outside Arrange mode, overlay windows let clicks reach iRacing instead of taking input over session controls.
  • Installer Setup actions stay visible at common Windows display scaling levels.
  • Installer Setup can continue when an app process exits while it is closing the app.
  • Editor Group selection and drag controls no longer move the wrong item during nested edits.
Improvements
  • Integrations Desktop-only updates no longer ask you to replace the separately versioned SimHub connector.
  • Widgets Library previews stop running live animations while you browse; effect previews still play when you edit them.
  • Overlays Animation follows the selected 30 or 60 Hz motion rate instead of the monitor's refresh rate.
  • Editor Dashboard save conflicts now present clearer recovery actions.

KPM Sim Kit gets its own Windows app

KPM Sim Kit now has a standalone desktop app for managing dashboards, widgets, overlays, and settings. It reads iRacing telemetry directly and runs its dashboard host in the background, so closing the window leaves displays active. Open it again from the tray, or use Quit KPM Sim Kit to stop the host.

SimHub is an optional connection for showing KPM dashboards on wheels, monitors, and phones. The new Integrations page finds SimHub, connects or repairs it, and shows a phone address when one is available. A local SimHub display waits for the KPM host to start before opening its dashboard.

SimHub connection status in the desktop app

The Windows setup can install the app without SimHub. When it finds an existing KPM SimHub installation, it moves dashboards and settings into the app and connects SimHub to them. When a newer version is available, the top bar offers the update and the app opens a verified setup file.

Build conditions that change how a widget looks

Add rules such as If RPM is at least 8000 and gear is greater than 2, then change text. Edit data, comparisons, and values directly from compact chips. Combine conditions with and or or, and drag rules into order. Each rule has buttons to enable, duplicate, or remove it. When rules match at the same time, later rules win for the same visual property.

Compact visual rules with inline RPM and gear conditions and removable visual changes

Rules can change text, background, border, opacity, visibility, or flash. The choices and values follow the selected data type, including named values for gear and session state. The same condition controls now drive widget, overlay, and screen visibility. Widget editors share the rule controls, and live data updates only the widgets that use a changed condition.

The data browser groups related readings into categories and variants. Search across all data, or start with the current selection, recent choices, and commonly used readings.

Searchable data browser with categories and suggested readings

More room to edit, with clearer controls

Editor sidebars start at a quarter of the window and remember the width you set across editors. A thin blue divider marks the resize handle. The sidebar uses one tab row, with tighter type and spacing so more settings fit without losing their hierarchy.

Text changes open a compact popover with font size, weight presets, and color swatches. Reset icons restore dashboard defaults. Border controls let you link sides or corners, or adjust them separately. Ordering controls make it easier to see and change the position of selected items.

More in this release

  • Widgets: RPM, radar, telemetry traces, and other live widgets do less work between data updates while keeping their current readings visible.
  • Race context: Race control and spectator widgets can use more field data, and the RPM widget follows iRacing shift light data.
Fixes
  • Dashboards Local SimHub windows wait for the desktop host to become available instead of staying on a browser connection error.
  • Widgets Manufacturer logos keep their contrast and alignment in leaderboard and other widget layouts.
  • Data Gear text refits when its value changes width, and unitless metrics no longer show a unit toggle.
Improvements
  • Editor Removed unused menu and browser link controls from the desktop app.
  • Data Redline and pit limiter states can change widget text and colors.

Start with something from Community

Community expands beyond widgets to include dashboards, overlay scenes, and themes. Browse everything together or filter by type, search by name, and inspect previews before choosing Use. Staff Favorites appear first, followed by the most-used items.

Community preview alongside the theme builder

Using a Community item creates your own copy. Edit it freely: changes from its author do not replace your work. Removing the public listing does not remove your copy.

Share your own work from the top bar of each builder. Published items appear in Community immediately. The Library shows which items are private or public. You can make a listing private again from its sharing controls.

Make a theme your own

Create reusable themes with your own colors, fonts, density, corners, shadows, and glow. Start with a built-in theme and preview your changes across widgets as you edit.

Shared widgets use the destination's theme. Preview them in different themes before adding them to your dashboard or overlay scene.

Start from a template

Choose New, pick what you want to build, then browse built-in templates and Community designs. Use one as your starting point or start from scratch.

  • Flags Show the striped debris flag in flag widgets and the mirror overlay.

Build a widget once, then use it anywhere

Reusable widgets now sit beside dashboards and overlay scenes in the Library. Choose Widget from the New flow and set its internal grid. Then assemble it with the same content used elsewhere in the editor.

The reusable widget creation flow and widget builder

Saved widgets appear under My widgets whenever you add content to a dashboard, overlay scene, or another reusable widget. Each insertion is an independent copy, so you can resize or edit it without changing the original.

The widget builder uses the same top bar and settings as the dashboard and overlay editors. Undo, redo, add, save, and overflow actions also stay in familiar places. Widget settings hold the reusable grid and appearance defaults. The overflow menu can delete the widget without changing copies already in use.

Find and share widgets through Community

Community has its own place in the sidebar. Browse shared widgets, search the catalog, and add one to your local collection. Installed community widgets then appear in the normal Add widget flow.

Your own widgets stay in the Library. Turn on sharing in a widget's settings to publish its YAML and referenced images. Shared assets use their content hash, so two packages can reuse the same image without storing another copy. Turning sharing off removes the public listing while keeping your local widget.

Move through Replay Lab recordings

Replay Lab now has a seek bar with elapsed time and lap markers. Drag to another point in a recording or select a lap marker to jump directly to that lap. Seeking resets replay state before playback resumes from the chosen frame.

More in this release

  • Widget text: Set font color and weight directly, or change either value from live data.
  • Widget spacing: Set one inner-spacing value for every side, then open the detail control to adjust each edge.
  • Local recovery: The editor writes accepted changes to a local journal. It moves them back to the SimHub host after reconnection.
  • Widget packages: Export and import standalone YAML or a .kpmwidget package when the widget includes images.
Fixes
  • Dashboards Matched widget spacing, alignment, type scale, and group layout between the editor preview and the running dashboard.
  • Editor grid Allowed placement and resizing on every grid row and column instead of skipping alternating positions.
  • Editor grid Inserted a widget at the remaining available size when its preferred footprint does not fit.
  • Telemetry Kept the newest trace at the live edge without the line becoming delayed, jumpy, or separated by a growing gap.
  • Pit window Scaled each timeline bar to one lap.
  • Widgets Kept long names and values inside their preview frames at smaller sizes.
  • Templates Allowed owners to remove and unshare their own templates after a refreshed sign-in.
  • Sync Reconciled accepted changes even when another change has a conflict.
  • Overlays Kept update failures visible and retryable instead of replacing them with a later error.
Improvements
  • Library Added reusable widgets to the same searchable list as dashboards and overlay scenes.
  • Add widget Put common choices first, with Data at the top, and added separate My widgets and Community filters.
  • Widget builder Moved grid and appearance settings into the top bar and kept the sidebar focused on adding and editing content.
  • Editor Added clear working, saved, failed, retry, cancel, and conflict states across persistence and external actions.
  • Profiles Kept activation, import, export, delete, and retry states in place until each action finishes.
  • Settings Kept Replay Lab, feedback, connection, and sign-out failures actionable without losing the current page state.

More control over your dashboard

Choose what each widget shows, which driver it follows, and how the content fits its frame. Backgrounds can grow with live data or change color across the whole widget.

Data controls, the Battle timing dashboard, and radar proximity zones

Build a compact position number, a large driver badge, or a lap comparison that changes between red and green. Set a fixed text size or let the content fit its frame. Theme colors, gradients, opacity, and response curves control the final result.

The Battle timing template places two driver groups around a center position readout. It includes badges, names, ratings, gaps, and lap times. Every part remains a widget that you can move, resize, or replace.

Battle timing with two driver panels and a center position readout

The template keeps its relative-driver choices and background settings. Each group can follow a different driver, while a child can inherit that Context or choose its own. New dashboards receive an independent copy, so later catalog updates do not overwrite their edits.

Select the data and driver

The Data widget puts numeric readings and driver visuals in one content picker. Choose a reading such as position, lap time, gap, or rating. You can also show a name, badge, country flag, manufacturer logo, car number, or class chip.

Related readings share a category. A second control selects the wheel, sector, or comparison reference when the reading needs one.

Position controls with optional values and a relative-driver Context

Context selects the driver. Choose the current driver, camera driver, a relative car, a standings position, or the fastest lap.

Relative positions accept positive and negative numbers. +1 selects the next driver ahead. -1 selects the next driver behind. Filters can include all drivers, the current class, or other classes.

A group can set one Context for its supported children. Each child shows whether it inherits the group value or uses an override.

A child widget that uses the group Context

Sector data remains limited to the current driver because it does not support another driver subject.

Control background size and color with data

A background can grow with a value or cover the frame with one data-driven color. Use a growing fill for proximity, fuel, or progress. Use full-frame color for a red or green lap delta.

For a lap comparison:

  1. Select Last lap vs you as the data source.
  2. Select Full frame for the fill area.
  3. Select Positive / negative for colors.
  4. Set Above zero to Critical.
  5. Set Below zero to Positive.
  6. Select a separate color for Zero.

This reading subtracts the Context driver's last lap from your last lap. A positive value means you were slower. A negative value means you were faster. Text adjusts for contrast when the data color covers the frame at full opacity.

Full-frame color controls for Last lap vs you

Growing fills can start at any edge. Choose one tint, a two-color gradient, or custom gradient stops. Each stop has its own position and optional opacity.

Range & response controls can use fixed limits or the limits from the selected data. Reverse the fill when a smaller value should produce a larger background. Linear, logarithmic, exponential, and S-curve responses shape how the fill moves through the range.

A reversed fill with fixed limits and a logarithmic response curve

See pit service state in one place

Pit service shows fuel to add, fuel after the stop, selected tires, tire compound, tear-off, and fast repair. Choose a compact or vertical layout, then show only the details you need. These settings change the display, not the pit selections in your simulator.

Pit service with fuel estimates, tire selections, tear-off, and fast repair

Tune the radar to your view

The radar has proximity zones and car markers. Set its range, show or hide guides, and hide the radar when the track is clear.

Radar proximity zones with cars alongside and nearby

Customize text, badges, and spacing

Text sizes use numbered presets from 6 to 512 instead of size names. Keep Theme default or select Auto-fit text. Numeric sizes use relative units, so they follow the selected theme and font family.

Set content alignment, label size, label placement, and spacing separately. Hide a label when the value should stand alone. The same Data content can fit a small dashboard cell or a large display.

Text size, alignment, label visibility, and label layout controls

Scale whole badge changes the complete badge without altering its proportions. Auto-fit text changes only the text size. Inner spacing can follow the theme or allow edge-to-edge content.

Position can show the field size and position change, or only the position number. Similar controls hide session totals, lap deltas, and sector deltas.

Find and edit the right control

Group rows show the content name and effective driver Context. The second line identifies group inheritance or a widget override.

Named group widgets with their inherited driver Context

Data controls put content, display style, and optional values together. Basic typography remains visible, while detailed label layout starts closed.

Background controls separate the base background from the data effect. Advanced range and response controls also start closed.

More in this release

  • Data widgets: Gap to you and Last lap vs you can use the selected driver Context.
  • Pit service: Added separate readings for tear-off, fast repair, fuel after the stop, and fuel-to-end status.
  • Driver names: Added full names, short names, and initials.
Fixes
  • Backgrounds Custom proximity fills use gap magnitude for drivers ahead and behind. A negative gap no longer fills the frame.
  • Context Relative-position steppers accept negative values, skip zero, and select drivers behind you.
  • Data widgets Long text truncates when the frame has no room for another line.
  • Driver ratings Safety-rating and iRating text follow automatic sizing, and compact badges fit smaller frames.
  • Data widgets Changing away from a complete driver badge selects a compatible sizing mode.
  • Data widgets Selecting the same category again preserves its selected variant.
  • Backgrounds Switching color modes preserves positive and negative colors.
  • Backgrounds Moving a gradient stop keeps the active control in place.
  • Radar Positioning preserves a known side during close passes and clears old side data after cars move away.
  • Authentication Recovery keeps a usable refreshed session when refresh-token recovery fails.
  • Updates Update checks support the previous release host and the current Sim Kit release host.
Improvements
  • Data widgets Added independent controls for label size, placement, alignment, spacing, and optional values.
  • Driver badges Added separate whole-badge scaling and text auto-fit modes.
  • Inspector Kept basic typography visible and placed detailed label layout in a closed section.
  • Inspector Separated base backgrounds from data effects and kept advanced response controls closed.
  • Groups Showed the content name and effective Context for each child row.
  • Migration Preserved saved settings while converting older metric widgets, driver details, and named text sizes to Data widgets.

Build layouts with groups

Keep related widgets together in a Group on dashboards and overlays. Give the group a label, border, and background, then drag widgets into or out of it on the canvas. A selected group on the dashboard canvas with its label and widget controls

Start from a template and make it yours

Browse dashboard templates in the Library or choose one during creation. The Lap timing template includes eight individual widgets that you can move, resize, replace, or remove. It replaces the old Lap Timing cluster in the widget picker. Existing saved clusters still render.

The template catalog loads once at SimHub startup. Updates to the catalog never overwrite dashboards you have already created.

Make the idle screen your own

Add a logo or other image, drag it into position, and adjust its size. Choose a solid color, gradient, or shader behind it. KPM Sim Kit stores JPG, PNG, WebP, and supported static SVG images locally while preserving transparency. Turning off background animation keeps a still shader visible.

The right screen at the right moment

Dashboard screens can now switch automatically for driving, pit lane, session, and flag conditions. Show a flag screen while a warning is active, or return after a set number of seconds. Your previous screen returns when the conditions end, and timed screens wait for a new activation before appearing again.

Automatic screen conditions, the revised Battle cluster, and compact mirror sector results

Clearer battles and sector results

The Battle cluster gives nearby drivers more room, adds safety rating and iRating, and makes last-lap comparisons easier to read. The mirror has smaller sector squares and delta text in a less-rounded center panel, aligned with its bottom border. First completed sectors establish a personal-best baseline instead of appearing yellow because no earlier lap exists.

Battle cluster with driver ratings and last-lap comparisons

Steadier live telemetry

Fixed a mismatch when joining a session that could leave telemetry, gear, and steering readings updating too slowly. Telemetry traces now scroll between incoming samples.

Put every overlay detail under your control

KPM Sim Kit 0.0.13 showing the mirror overlay, telemetry widget, and driver tag settings

Telemetry and mirror overlays now fit the information you want around the car. Hide complete telemetry sections and configure each pedal bar and percentage. You can also turn off ABS or traction-control treatment and show sector results under any supported mirror delta.

Keep high-rate widgets on the live feed

High-rate widgets now consume the native 30 Hz motion feed directly. Removing the second rate-limit timer keeps telemetry traces, steering, radar, and clusters responsive without adding more polling work to SimHub.

Edit without losing your place

Dashboard editing is safer across autosave and profile changes. Successful saves preserve undo history. Profile activation carries the correct revision forward. Published documents include the telemetry demand from active dashboards and overlays.

  • Overlays Full-widget opacity is no longer applied twice with lower background opacity.
Improvements
  • Live data Kept telemetry, radar, mirror, and cluster motion aligned with the native 30 Hz feed.
  • GT clusters Showed placeholders for unavailable metrics before the first timed lap.
  • Mirror overlay Integrated active flags into the lower frame and hid the band when race control is clear.
  • Mirror overlay Scaled sector labels on tracks with many timing sectors.
  • Installer Restored managed dashboard wrappers to the packaged runtime without replacing user dashboard documents.

Faster live data with finer overlay control

KPM Sim Kit now requests high-frequency telemetry only for widgets on active dashboards and overlays. A separate path handles fast motion data without rebuilding slower session updates. Pedal traces, relatives, spotter state, and other live widgets stay current.

The refined telemetry and mirror overlays beside the new scene layers panel.

Shape telemetry around your view

Show or hide clutch, brake, and throttle readouts, then arrange their bars horizontally below the trace or vertically beside it. The trace now moves more smoothly, clutch input follows the physical pedal, and steering follows the standard on-screen direction.

Build a mirror overlay that belongs around the mirror

The mirror overlay has a tighter frame across every theme. Configure metrics at the left, center, and right, with spotter rails at both sides. Active flags take over the lower frame and disappear when race control is clear.

  • Editor Alignment guides snap widgets to the scene center and neighboring edges while dragging.
  • Mirror overlay Frame metrics use the same catalog as individual data widgets, including local time.

See nearby traffic at a glance

The new proximity radar shows cars ahead, alongside, and behind your own car in a compact transparent overlay. Its rings and center lines make direction and distance easy to read without covering the track.
